Playing with Google

I use many of Google's services.  Google and Google Scholar are my preferred internet search engines, and I recently discovered the advantages of Google Translate.  It was fantastic!  Google Maps, Google Earth and Google Images are great tools as well, and my gmail account often comes in handy too.  While I am still a fan of Firefox as my web browser of choice, I am beginning to see the benefits of Google Chrome.  And a quick peek at all the different Google products available opens up a few more tools to discover!

Technology overload

In reading a few technology blogs published on readwrite.com and mashable.com, I think I need to keep reading about new technologies, devices and apps!  I probably only recognised about 10% of what was listed... it makes the concept of lifelong learning even more real.

Starting out

While technology and social media are all around us, the 23 Things program will be my first time experiencing some of the applications.   Getting started with Blogger has been an experience in itself!  With a little help from the Help notes and my friends (my colleagues!), I can now begin my technology journey!
